What is injection lipolysis?

Injection lipolysis is used to reduce small, defined fat deposits, resulting in a change in contour. Weight is not reduced by injection lipolysis, as this is a classic correction. The active ingredient of the fat-away injection is a natural preparation and is obtained from soybeans: phosphatidylcholine (PPC). This stimulates the hydrolytic breakdown of neutral fats in the fatty tissue. The composition of this active ingredient is also produced in our body, where it fulfills a variety of tasks, particularly in fat metabolism. This means that small fat deposits can be reduced without surgical intervention.

The treatment

After defining the relevant areas of the body during the consultation, the agent is injected into the affected areas using a syringe with a fine needle, which stimulates the melting of fat cells and increased fat breakdown. The fat is broken down naturally and permanently by the body; this biochemical process leads to the dissolution of the fat cells. The dissolved cell residues are absorbed via the lymph and the adjacent cells, metabolized and excreted in the stool. The reabsorbed fat deposits usually do not return, except in the case of massive weight gain after treatment.
A pain cream is applied before the treatment. As there are only a few nerve fibers in the subcutaneous tissue, the injections are hardly noticeable. After the injections, the treated areas are cooled. After a short recovery period, you can leave the practice again. The triggering of the biochemical process causes swelling and sensitivity to pressure and slight redness are to be expected. This can last up to 7 days. You will be able to socialize after 3-5 days, although swelling may still be visible for up to 2 weeks. The effect after treatment with injection lipolysis is not immediately noticeable, as the dissolved fat cells are broken down by the body over a longer period of time. A duration of 4-8 weeks must be assumed here. As a rule, 2-4 sessions at intervals of 6-8 weeks are necessary to successfully reach all fat deposits in the respective area.

FAQ

What is injection lipolysis?

Injection lipolysis, also known as fat-away injections, aims to promote targeted fat loss. This is achieved using various active ingredients such as bile acid deoxycholic acid (DOC) or a combination with phosphatidylcholine (PPC).

Can the fat-away syringe also be used for large areas?

The fat-away injection is not suitable for treating larger areas. In such cases, conventional liposuction can achieve the desired effect.

Can you lose weight with the syringe?

The fat-away injection is not intended for weight loss. It merely aims to destroy fat cells and thus reshape the body contour.

How does the syringe work?

The effect of the fat-away injection is based on the principle of lipolysis, the biochemical process of fat dissolution in the body cells. The dissolved fats enter the bloodstream via the lymphatic system and are removed there.
