What is injection lipolysis?

Injection lipolysis serves to reduce smaller, defined fat deposits and thus results in a change in contour. Injection lipolysis does not reduce weight, as this is a classic correction. The active ingredient in the fat-removal injection is a natural preparation and is obtained from soybeans: phosphatidylcholine (PPC). This stimulates the hydrolytic breakdown of neutral fats in the fatty tissue. The composition of this active ingredient is also produced in our body and fulfils a variety of tasks there, particularly in fat metabolism. This means that small fat deposits can be reduced without surgical intervention.

The treatment

After defining the relevant body parts during the consultation, the agent is injected into the affected areas using a syringe with a very fine needle, which stimulates the melting of the fat cells and increases fat loss. The fat is broken down by the body naturally and permanently; this biochemical process leads to the dissolution of the fat cells. The cell remains that are then dissolved are absorbed via the lymph and the adjacent cells, metabolized and excreted via the stool. The reabsorbed fat deposits usually do not return, except in the case of massive weight gain after treatment.
A pain cream is applied before the treatment. Since there are only a few nerve fibers in the subcutaneous tissue, the injections are barely noticeable. After the injections, the treated areas are cooled. After a short recovery period, you can leave the practice. The triggering of the biochemical process causes swelling and sensitivity to pressure and slight redness are to be expected. This can last up to 7 days. You will be able to socialize after 3-5 days, although swelling may still be visible for up to 2 weeks. The effect after treatment with injection lipolysis is not immediately noticeable, since the dissolved fat cells are broken down by the body over a longer period of time. A duration of 4-8 weeks must be expected here. As a rule, 2-4 sessions at intervals of 6-8 weeks are necessary to successfully reach all fat deposits in the respective zone.

FAQ

What is injection lipolysis?

Injection lipolysis, also known as fat-removal injection, aims to promote targeted fat loss. This is achieved through various active ingredients such as bile acid deoxycholic acid (DOC) or a combination with phosphatidylcholine (PPC).

Can the fat-removal injection also be used for large areas?

The fat-removal injection is not suitable for treating larger areas. In such cases, conventional liposuction can achieve the desired effect.

Can you lose weight with the syringe?

The fat-removal injection is not intended for weight loss. It is only aimed at destroying fat cells and thus remodeling the body contour.

How does the injection work?

The effect of the fat-removal injection is based on the principle of lipolysis, the biochemical process of fat dissolving in the body's cells. The dissolved fats enter the bloodstream via the lymphatic system and are transported away from there.
