Permanent hair removal made easy
Hair removal is a topic that affects both women and men and refers to the removal of unwanted body hair. Whether it's annoying stubble on the legs, annoying hairs on the arms or unwanted hair on the face - constantly shaving, waxing or epilating can become an annoying and tedious task.
Unwanted hair growth can occur at different stages of life. During puberty, many people's body hair begins to increase and thicken. For some, unwanted hair growth can also occur later in life, due to genetic predisposition or hormonal changes. Some women, for example, suffer from excessive facial hair growth, which many sufferers find unpleasant.
In this context, laser treatment offers an effective solution for permanently and long-term removal of unwanted hair. The laser is directed at the skin and the light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair. This heats up the hair root and ultimately destroys it, inhibiting hair growth.

How does permanent hair removal work?
In our practice, we only use laser devices from the manufacturer Alma Lasers for hair removal. Alma Lasers' products and treatment methods are clinically tested and supported by specialists in dermatology, aesthetics, surgery and cosmetics. The scientific studies were carried out by doctors and scientists who are among the best in the world. We use the Soprano Titanium Laser for hair removal. With its exclusive 3D technology, the three most effective laser wavelengths are combined in a single applicator. At the same time, different tissue depths and anatomical structures within the hair follicle can be targeted. This makes hair removal quick and effective. This technology is based on the principle of so-called selective photothermolysis. Light of a certain wavelength is absorbed by melanin in the hair root and converted into heat. The laser energy heats the hair root and thus damages the hair from growing back. The surrounding tissue is not damaged. However, since the area around the hair root is also heated, the stem cells responsible for new hair formation are also reached. This makes permanent hair removal possible.
The treatment
After a detailed consultation about the affected areas, the treatment begins. The treated area is cooled before and after each laser pulse. Laser safety goggles protect the eyes from a high-intensity beam of light. This means that unwanted hair growth can be combated directly at the root. The result is even, smooth and hair-free skin. However, the hair growth cycle is crucial for optimal, permanent hair removal.
It comprises three phases:
- growth (anagen phase)
- transition (catagen phase)
- rest/failure (telogen phase)
Usually 4-6 treatments are needed to achieve the desired result. However, a session once a year is recommended after that, as medication or hormonal changes can affect new hair growth.
Where can permanent hair removal be performed?
The treatment is possible on the entire body. Only those hairs that are currently growing are lasered. This is why several treatments are required, as only these hairs have melanin stored in the hair root to ensure that light is converted into heat. The results after the sessions can vary. The length of the anagen phase varies depending on the area of the body and the individual nature of the hair.
Some examples of application areas:
- Back
- Face
- Beine
- Poor
Rules of conduct before and after treatment:
