Stretch marks

Treat stretch marks effectively

Stretch marks are a common problem that affects many people and is often associated with an unpleasant feeling of discomfort and disturbance. These unpleasant marks are usually caused by stretching of the skin when the tissue grows faster than the skin structure can cope with. They are particularly common during pregnancy, puberty or when rapid weight gain or loss occurs.
To address this problem, montis medical offers laser treatment with the Lumenis Stellar M22™ laser. The Lumenis Stellar M22™ laser is a highly advanced medical device that targets the affected areas of the skin. The laser uses an innovative approach to improve the structure of stretch marks. The light energy emitted stimulates collagen in the deeper layers of the skin, which promotes skin regeneration and the production of new, elastic fibers.

FAQ

How does an IPL laser work and how is it different from other laser treatments?

An IPL laser (Intense Pulsed Light) works with high-energy light that is emitted onto the skin in short pulses. The light is absorbed by certain pigments in the tissue and converted into heat. This allows for targeted treatment of unwanted pigment changes, redness and vascular lesions. Compared to other lasers, IPL technology enables a wider range of applications and effective treatment of various skin problems.

How safe and effective is IPL treatment?

IPL treatment is safe and effective when performed by an experienced and qualified professional. The procedure has been thoroughly researched and is widely used in medical aesthetics. The modern technology of the Lumenis M22-Stellar ensures a precise and controlled delivery of light energy to treat the skin gently and achieve optimal results.

How many IPL treatments are required and how long does it take to see results?

The number of IPL treatments required varies depending on individual skin needs and the problem being treated. Typically, several sessions spaced a few weeks apart are required to achieve optimal results. Initial results may be visible after the first treatment, but the full effect develops over the course of the treatment series. A professional skin analysis and consultation with an experienced doctor or specialist are important to create an individual treatment plan.

How often does the treatment need to be repeated?

Up to three repeat treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired result. However, it should be noted that treatments should generally only be repeated once a year.
