Rosacea, couperose & hemangiomas

treatment for clear skin

Rosacea, couperose and hemangiomas are three different skin conditions that are often perceived as aesthetic problems and can affect self-confidence.
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that primarily affects the face and is characterized by persistent redness, visible blood vessels, and inflamed patches of skin. Couperose is a similar skin condition characterized by dilated blood vessels in the facial skin. The affected areas of skin often have a permanent blush that is most evident on the cheeks, nose, and chin. Hemangiomas, also called hemangiomas, are small, red or purple skin lesions caused by abnormal clusters of blood vessels. They often appear as spots or lumps and can occur anywhere on the skin. Laser treatment with the Lumenis Stellar M22™ Laser can help treat these skin conditions. The M22™ Laser is an advanced medical device specifically designed for skin applications.

The treatment

If desired, an anesthetic cream can be applied before the treatment. The Intensed Pulsed Light Therapy, which is produced using the latest flash lamp technology, can quickly and effectively give prematurely aged and sun-damaged skin a new radiance. In addition to treatment on the face, the treatment can also take place on the décolleté, as well as on the arms and legs.

How does an IPL laser work and how is it different from other laser treatments?

An IPL laser (Intense Pulsed Light) works with high-energy light that is emitted onto the skin in short pulses. The light is absorbed by certain pigments in the tissue and converted into heat. This allows for targeted treatment of unwanted pigment changes, redness and vascular lesions. Compared to other lasers, IPL technology enables a wider range of applications and effective treatment of various skin problems.

How safe and effective is IPL treatment?

IPL treatment is safe and effective when performed by an experienced and qualified professional. The procedure has been thoroughly researched and is widely used in medical aesthetics. The modern technology of the Lumenis M22-Stellar ensures a precise and controlled delivery of light energy to treat the skin gently and achieve optimal results.

How many IPL treatments are required and how long does it take to see results?

The number of IPL treatments required varies depending on individual skin needs and the problem being treated. Typically, several sessions spaced a few weeks apart are required to achieve optimal results. Initial results may be visible after the first treatment, but the full effect develops over the course of the treatment series. A professional skin analysis and consultation with an experienced doctor or specialist are important to create an individual treatment plan.
