Sculptra

Sculptra for youthful freshness

Over time, the natural ageing process leads to a loss of collagen and volume in the skin. This loss of volume can lead to sagging, wrinkles and a tired appearance. This is where Sculptra comes in. Sculptra stimulates the body's own production of collagen, the protein responsible for the structural strength and elasticity of the skin. By gradually improving the collagen build-up, Sculptra enables a gradual and natural renewal of the skin structure.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is a so-called biostimulator based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLAA). Poly-L-lactic acid is obtained synthetically and has long been used in various medical products, e.g. skin threads during operations, thread lifts and implants for bone and soft tissue. Poly-L-lactic acid, also known as liquid lifting, can stimulate the tissue to form new collagen fibers and restore lost volume in the face. The results after a Sculptra treatment last up to two years. With multiple sessions, the results last longer.

The treatment

First, we will discuss with you in detail which regions should be treated with Sculptra. You will then be informed by one of our specialist doctors. On the day of treatment, the skin to be treated is cleaned and disinfected. The injection sites can be anaesthetized in advance. The Sculptra solution is then gently and painlessly injected evenly under the skin using fine needles.

Which areas can be treated with Sculptra?

The following areas can be treated particularly well with Sculptra:

  • Cheeks
  • Chin
  • Cleavage
  • Neck
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Wrinkles between the mouth and chin

Rules of conduct before and after treatment

After the treatment:

  • 1-2 weeks no physically strenuous activities
  • Apply sunscreen - protect treated skin from the sun
  • Light massaging helps to distribute the biostimulator evenly in the skin
